prospects in my pocket!

I like Rex more than RexPro precisely because it doesn't allow data entry. Instead, I type everything in Outlook (where it belongs) using a real keyboard on a real screen. Then, before I leave town or a corner, I replicate Outlook on Rex and have all the information in my pocket. Wonderful!

  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Don't leave home without it!

I have had 3 of these children in the last few years and love them very much. I wear it everywhere. Before I go on a trip, I transfer a lot of notes about the area, driving directions, hotel confirmations, restaurants, etc. from websites to Rex. All my phone numbers and addresses are always with me because it is so small. My "custodians" of copies of my files are on my home computer, so I don't lose anything even if something happens to my REX!

  • Great product

Need $ software to sync with Outlook

I have a Palm V that syncs with MS Outlook so I figured for $29 I could buy Rex and sync it with all my Outlook information . That way I could carry around a tiny, slimmed down PDA with the same data as my Palm V. Turns out the software needed to sync with Outlook costs $40 and isn't included. Without this additional purchase, you are stuck with the REX desktop software. Also, $29 is well under the cost, especially with the included dock, and the Rex has a sharp screen (but no backlight) and is

Good tool, good company, great price!

It's definitely useful - if you find it as handy as I do, you'll need to stock up on those little batteries, of which unfortunately it's got plenty. The display is very easy to read! And the company, although under new management, is very helpful - my LCD screen broke and when I called they made me pay half price for a new one and sent it straight away. And this price is simply unbeatable! You also get a docking station. Connecting to a computer is very easy! If you need a portable computerโ€ฆ

The most convenient PDA on the market today.

I have been using this REX for over 18 months. I no longer carry those little pieces of paper with phone numbers and reminders. The small size keeps all those phone numbers in my pocket and always organized. An extremely low price is your best protection against losses. Ultimately, since all data is on your computer, you have a backup. I remember a sales manager in London who missed a meeting because he spent all day looking for his expensive PDA. That would never happen to my REX. Hundreds ofโ€ฆ

No PDA can match it in terms of usability.

I will not repeat all the great reviews that have already been posted. However, I give REX five stars because while the basic REX doesn't let you input data directly, you can upgrade to REX Pro if you really need this feature. Otherwise why bother? The leather wallet that comes with it comes with handy business card sized note paper on which I jot down all the information I need to enter on my computer later. Having a Zip drive at home and work also allows me to easily update and transfer theโ€ฆ

Notebook Users - Think twice!

I bought my REX to solve the problem of carrying a standard sized PDA with me when I just need a phone book and my notes like a shopping list or a quick note. I would feel silly looking through my palm hero at the grocery store, so the size is a HUGE plus. Every existing PDA is bulky, and I think anyone who's ever had one will agree (even owners of ultra-slim 3Com models). I think it's worth every dollar I spent on my REX as it costs next to nothing and comes with a docking station which costsโ€ฆ
