Not the cleanest cut best for interiors

Could have gotten a better mark but the machine they used to cut the material didn't do a clean job. Small strands of uncut plastic hang down the sides, which can get caught under the film during installation. Because of this I had to do the door a second time.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not automatic

Works well with interior

The dealer installed a replacement door guard as it came off easily on this product. I was pleased with how easy it was to install and only took a few minutes for each door. It can withstand several thousand kilometers and several car washes.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I will add later

Fake or fake?

Product works but does not hold up well. Also, the item I received does not look like the picture shown here on Revain. I'm not sure if I caught a fake. The part number on mine is printed on a regular label and the reel itself doesn't say XPEL anywhere. Buyer Warning.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Only available in white

Expel PPF Easy Install on Silverado 2500HD 19 Years

I installed Expel Ultimate PPF on my Vette and it is amazing. So when I bought my new truck, I also wanted to protect it. Easy mounting on the edge of the door. I also used it to protect the edge of the wheel arch opening from stone chips. Once the color is clean and warm, it will hold up well.

Pros
  • 1 Year Trial
Cons
  • No Instructions

Almost invisible when installed correctly.

Great price . I've done three cars and barely made a dent (no pun intended) in the reel. The quality is almost perfect except for a few spots. But they send so many that it doesn't matter! Tip: wash your hands, wipe the area with alcohol and stretch to work the curves. Avoid touching the band with your fingertips.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Clean and easy to install

Bought to protect my truck from scratches from my car and while I might as well install it on all my cars I have it on mine and the Outback mine woman installed. and it was very easy to install and looks sharp. The only problem I had was that the machine that actually cut the roll left lots of little strips of plastic around the edges that I had to trim off, not sure if it was my roll that I received or not so. Without this problem I would have given 5 stars.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Works great so far on my Tacoma and Corolla

I've used this on my Tacoma and my mom's Corolla. I used my mom's car as a test car and learned a few things before putting it on mine. DO NOT pull to eliminate any doubt that this will create a wave in the foil line. Also, walk very slowly to make sure your line is straight. I pulled about 4-6 pieces at a time and kept very little tension while applying. Make sure you clean the area it will be applied to with a rag and rubbing alcohol to help it stick. Also, try to stay away from the spot…
