An update from our programmer regarding a PM we received: API Keys are stored locally using 1024-bit Encryption combined with Base64 obfuscation. Your security is our main concern. API keys are neither stored locally or logically at anytime in plain text. Keys are decrypted on the fly and only ever stored variably as base64.
Key's POW was literally one day. Get ready for the pump, and subsequent sell off. Set realistic profit targets guys. No pie in the sky on this one. Take your profit and move onto the next coin.
I'm starting to think 75-80k might be the next platform. Depending on any next release, could even be 100k. If people aren't stocking up on their KEY coins now, fool them I say. This could be classed as a cheap price.

Pros
  • Yeah don't know why some are so impatient. KeyOS has only been out for a little over a day and as already stated, this OS is just the first release candidate. Still lots of things that will get ironed out and some of the main features have not even been added yet. KeyTrader 2. is on the horizon. Regardless of what anyone thinks about the OS, I think we can all agree that this dev team can definitely deliver. That alone is worth a lot.
Cons
  • Actually I just got caught up on a backlog of messages, sorry for the long silence. We are still working on the same products as last time we updated you here. We are doing a full revamp of KeyTrader at the moment, but I am talking with the dev to maybe release an intermediate update for everyone to try in the meantime. I wish I could give a timeline on this, but each time the release seems to be complete and working for everyone else, I manage to break it somehow (that's my job). The updated version of KeyTrader will be cross-platform, and will then be included as a tool inside KeyOS. We also hope to have a staking Android wallet available in the near future, coded by a community member from this thread. It was also suggested by a few people that we join the SuperNet, so I am looking into how we can become a part of this. If any of you have additional information on that, it would be very helpful. We are always open to suggestions for features and improvements, so feel free to send a message and I'll try to get back to you as quickly as I can. Thanks for your patience everyone, we are doing our best!EDIT: I guess I was beaten to this post! Leaving it here anyway for additional information.
