Litecoin will be a household name
I love litecoin, I wish I still owned the large bag I once held. Charlie Lee created a strong project, largely known as the "silver" to bitcoins gold standard. If any other alts begin is gain traction and are largely accepted forms of payment, aside from bitcoin -- litecoin will certainly be accepted first.
It has a scalable supply and a strong community. The wallets are decent and the price and value have remained reliable in a extremely volitale environment.
The future is bright for cryptocurrency -- and litecoin is right behind bitcoin.
Litecoin is such a strong project with such a large following, that it is easy to say that if alt coins and crypto survive -- litecoin will be huge.

- This is a respected coin with long standing ethics.
- Reliable, we know Charlie Lee in the community -- hes reputable.
- The coin value has continued to grow and hasnt fallen off like so many other alts.
- It is accepted at many retailers.
- One of the most well known projects.
- More scalable than bitcoin.
Cons
- The technology isnt as strong as some of the other popular alts.
- There is a large gap between the awareness of bitcoin vs litecoin.
- Charlie lee sold his coins, and he is the developer.
