My Review on the University of Toronto

Checking out for highest rated universities in the world, the University of Toronto is among the list. Not only is the university rated among the top universities in the world, but also rated among the top university in Canada as a result of it's intensive research and teaching practices. Moreso, the university is also known for its research on insulin, bone-marrow transplant, artificial intelligence, and many more. The university is also famously known as Utoronto or UofT. Although this university was Founded in 1826 but it has since developed into Canada’s leading institution of learning, and presently the best higher educational institution established in Canada. Over 700 undergraduate degree and 200 postgraduate degree programs are been offered in this University. However, the university of Toronto has three campuses. 1. Downtown Toronto (St. George) 2. Mississauga (in the West) 3.Scarborough (in the East). One of the things I love about this University is the care been given to the students by ensuring they get the best facilities and staff, the students are also given the privilege to learn from and work with preeminent thought leaders through the university's multidisciplinary network of teaching and research faculty, alumni and partners. ADMISSION The fact that Admission to the University of Toronto is competitive is undeniable. Aside from entrance exams, your academic history as an applicant is one of the factors that is considered. Some programs would require supplementary applications, auditions or profiles. Therefore, they usually advice all interested persons to apply early and submit all necessary documents as early as possible. The requirements to get into the university of Toronto includes: SAT: Score must not be below 500. GPA: For Undergraduate students GPA of 3.6 is required while for graduate students GPA of 3.0 is required. MCAT Requirements: Students are expected to score 125 in each section FCE in either social science, humanities or languages must be completed. English Proficiency Score: For IELTS score of 6.5 is required and TOEFL score must be 100+22. FEES Apparently, studying in Canada is quite affordable than many other countries. It's not like studying is free but in order for students to be able to pay less for their education, the fees are subsidized. However, for public colleges the average tuition fee is around $20,770(USD) every year.
