GM Mass Air Flow Sensor

Even if your SEI (Engine Service Indicator) doesn't light up at 60,000 miles or more, the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor is giving you a bad MPG. For the price of this device in Revain change it. This is a DIY project but you will need a tamper proof torx set as the torx screw that holds the MAF sensor has a spigot in the middle. Just head to Sears or check out Revain for a set of tamper evident Torx latches and you're good to go. Also under the hood, replace the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, also…

Perfect fit and functionality for my 2004 Impala.

Buy this part. Does your car have P-0171 errors or something related to emissions? Bad MPG? Did you trace the problem to the mass air flow sensor? This part from AC Delco will fix that. Buy the original if you can. I had problems with my MAF a few years ago - car wouldn't start, stalled - I foolishly replaced the fuel pump and filter before correctly diagnosing the MAF as a problem. I didn't think it was the mass air flow sensor because it was new and the manufacturer is good and I've bought parts from them before with no problems. I went through everything I could think of and tested. I've exchanged parts for hundreds of dollars without permission. I was about to give up and throw my

This is the MAF sensor for my 2000 Buick Regal GS. The symptoms were severe idle fluctuations under light braking and low speeds, and idle fluctuations when stopping. Giving him gas helps. Stopped once. Code P0102 issued. I cleaned the sensor and it worked for a couple of weeks then same problem. I cleaned it again, it was fine for a week then the same problem. Cleaned again - didn't help. (Although the CRC MAF cleaner is great. Buy it for $7 and try it before paying $170.) Using an OBD2 Wi-Fi…
