Pacsafe Venturesafe G3 25L for the win!

Used this daily on our recent month long trip to Europe. Very light weight and quality built with quality materials. Just the right size for hauling around an iPad and other items. Could stuff two windbreaker jackets inside and still have room for more things. Toted a water bottle in one side pouch and a compact umbrella on the other. Safety features abound as I felt confident in safely keeping my and sometimes my wife's passport & other documents in the inside sleeve. The locking zipper…

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • The bag is not waterproof, meaning that items inside can still get wet in heavy rain

Not enough pockets or compartments

I moved to South America a few months back and wanted a very secure backpack since it will generally be filled with expensive things. It definitely checks all the boxes for security, though the main zipper lock makes it tricky to fit all the zippers inside. Overall, I'm happy with the bag.My main beef with it is the lack of extra pockets or organization. There is one roomy main compartment with a hydration/laptop sleeve and one small compartment with two sleeves for a phone and wallet, and…

Pros
  • Great product, the security features are awesome for traveling abroad!
Cons
  • Comfortable to carry. Security is weak.

Super security. - my new review

I bought this backpack for an upcoming trip to Spain and I love it! I don’t have to worry about anyone opening this when I’m not looking because it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to unlock it. Very comfortable and I’m convinced this will make my trip far easier than my normal shoulder bag. It’s the perfect size for me to carry. I’ll report back in late March!September 2022 update:This backpack is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It worked beautifully for my trip to Spain, and I…

Pros
  • Very easy to use. Used around town on my trip and on a big hike. Very well made and durable.
Cons
  • The daypack is relatively expensive compared to similar-sized backpacks on the market

A good everyday carry daypack.

I like the capability to padlock the two storage areas, and the capability to secure the bag to a large, sturdy object (even though I doubt I would ever do that). The two side pockets for water bottles and umbrellas should be deeper, or have straps further up to keep items from falling out. The main compartment should have a zippered, mesh pocket like the secondary compartment does. Overall, it is a good daypack for everyday carry items or day trips. (That's what I use it for.) I would use a…

Pros
  • Product works as described, well made
Cons
  • The anti-theft features of the daypack could be confusing for someone who is not familiar with them

Secure and Surprisingly lightweight

The 25L backpack is very well made. Usually extra protection comes with a compromise of weighting more but not this one; it is very light which makes it an excellent international travel choice. The bag is stylish and yet not flashy that would drawn unwanted attention. The backpack is a well though out design. I love that the laptop holder does not touch the bottom. The zippers and the PopNLock is excellent. Some people complaint about not enough pockets in the main compartment but I think it is

Pros
  • Excellent pack.
Cons
  • The daypack is quite heavy, which could be a burden when carrying it around

Good Backpack best in my review

I’ll be using this bag while I travel. I needed something durable for my camera lenses and that would be difficult for pickpocket's. This should do the trick because I had a heckuva time just trying to get it open!

Pros
  • Traveling-safe and easy to use. Very good quality.
Cons
  • The daypack may not be useful for people who do not use laptops regularly

Secure travel backpack but no luggage strap

Lightweight and secure zips that interlock while traveling. Contains an RFID slot that fits a passport with cover and mesh pocket for small items that need to be reached during a flight. The only thing missing is a luggage strap at the back to fit over a carry-on rolling luggage.

Pros
  • Super comfortable - with padded & adjustable shoulder straps and hip belt for weight distribution. Ergonomic frame with padded, Honey-comb fabric back support. Height adjustable sternum strap. Handles padded with high density foam.
Cons
  • The size of the daypack may make it challenging to fit into smaller overhead bins

Very secure good for me

Great pack. I really felt like my things were very secure with the locking system. Have since bought a second pac safe as well. Love em both!RJ

Pros
  • Backpacks
Cons
  • The bag is not suitable for larger individuals who need larger waist straps for added support

Well Made Bag but Lacks Organizational Pockets.

Needed smaller backpack for petite frame and this bag fits-doesn’t overwhelm. It’s well made, durable and water resistant. It would be difficult for someone to break in to. However gave three stars as no organizational pockets in main compartment. Difficult to find things as main compartment deep so using small zippered bags for items need easy access to on long trips.

Pros
  • Lightweight: Weighing only 1.9 pounds, this backpack is easy to carry even when fully loaded
Cons
  • The daypack may not be suitable for people who need multi-functional storage options

Perfect for travel good for me

Used it for mostly carry on personal items on plane and day excursions. A comfortable, well thought out product with lots of room and ample security features. Takes a bit longer to retrieve items, but worth the security it provided. Highly recommended. This is now my go to bag when traveling light.

Pros
  • Anti-Theft
Cons
  • The construction of the daypack may be too rigid, causing discomfort during prolonged use

SHOULDER STRAPS ARE ADJUSTABLE!

The 2019 Venturesafe G3 25 L has all of the outstanding safety features I love about Pacsafe plus adjustable lap belt, sternum belt AND ADJUSTABLE SHOULDER STRAPS! (I originally bought the Pacsafe Venturesafe 25 L GII. I returned it because the shoulder straps were NOT adjustable). I am female 5' 2" & the 2019 G3 is very comfortable on my back. I can fit one large packing cube (or 2 medium packing cubes) and 1 TSA quart size liquids bag in main body. Although there is only one expandable laptop

Pros
  • Warranty: This backpack comes with a five-year Pacsafe warranty, giving you peace of mind and confidence in your purchase
Cons
  • The daypack may not suit individuals who prefer brighter or more colorful backpacks

Cross straps are in an awkward spot for women

I bought this for a trip because of the security features. Loved the bag, it was the right size and sturdy without being too heavy. But it’s unusable if you’re a woman. The cross strap on the front cut right across my breasts making it impossible to wear. I tried expanding the straps but no luck. The cross straps are just in the wrong place, and not using them makes the bag less secure. I returned it, this was a miss.

Pros
  • Dependable! I am buying more for my sis! Definitely worth it!
Cons
  • The daypack is designed as a unisex bag, so it may not suit everyone’s style or taste

Best Secured Backpack Ever

Been looking for the perfect backpack that is light, durable, stylish and secured to take to Europe. I just received it and after struggling a little to figure out how to use the lock (my 12 year old was the one that showed me how), I love love this backpack and highly recommend it for travel.

Pros
  • Lockable and cut resistant - with securable interlocking zippers (can also be locked with padlock, not included). fabric is cut resistant for maximum security (lightweight steel mesh), plus an RFID blocking pocket to keep your credit cards/ IDs safe.
Cons
  • The back padding may not provide enough support for long-term carrying situations

Nice pack for light travel, but.

I've been using PacSafe backpacks for years. I've got one for everyday use and one for my camera gear. I needed to replace an old backpack that I use for weekend trips and going with PacSafe was a no brainer. The VentureSafe 28L looked like it had plenty of room and pockets to stow away my gear.I can cram enough clothes for a 2-3 night getaway, plus my Surface laptop and other electronic gear (chargers, cords, etc.). I was leaning towards the larger 32L version but I just couldn't get sold on…

Pros
  • The water-resistant exterior of this backpack will keep your belongings dry even in rainy weather or accidental spills
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for professions that require more formal attire

I like the feeling of security

Took this on our trip to Florida. I don't feel comfortable leaving my things on the beach while I take a walk or go in the water. This pack gave me piece of mind. Attached the strap to the chair and then locked the little zippers. Piece of mind!

Pros
  • Protective: The padded laptop sleeve will protect your 15" laptop from scratches, dents, and other damage
Cons
  • The anti-theft features may make the product too difficult for children to use

Good quality - my new review

Bag is good quality and closure is secure. Roomy enough for travel and electronics but also slim enough for a day pack. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Outpac Designs, Inc (PacSafe)
Cons
  • The bag may not provide adequate protection for items such as camera equipment or fragile items

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits same amount as 30l and better design!

We bought this and 30l. This one is better design and 30l didnt fit any addition items! Yes, doesn't make sense but we tested it out!

Pros
  • Comfortable: With its padded shoulder straps and back panel, this backpack is designed for comfort even when carrying heavy loads
Cons
  • The RFID blocking technology may not be necessary for some individuals

Not Perfect best in my review

I haven't used this bag yet, but overall, it seems like it's a good bag. My biggest complaint is that the exomesh does not encase the entire bag. It covers the front pocket, the bottom and then about half-way up the sides to the top of the water bottle pockets. Further up, however, is just plain material which could still result in a slash and run event.

Pros
  • Stay adventure ready with this compact anti-theft backpack that fits your daily essentials.
Cons
  • The daypack may not suit people who need hydration capabilities, such as water bottle holders

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for crowds for my opinion

Excellent security, felt very safe walking in crowded Rome or Venice. It packs narrow and deep. Like a safe on your back as a daypack, could use a little more organization for use as a carry on. Love the shoulder strap Lock feature, no runaway bags.

Pros
  • Very good experience, recommended
Cons
  • The daypack is not customizable or adjustable for individualized comfort and ergonomics

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Roomy and appears durable

Bought in anticipation of a trip, so not used yet. Appears to be well constructed and suitable for the purpose. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The ventilation system may not be adequate, leading to discomfort during extended use
