This facial tonic is DESTROYING my once beautiful skin

I bought this facial gel on the recommendation of someone who said it would help improve my skin barrier. Not only did it not improve my skin barrier, it actually felt like it was robbing my skin of additional moisture. It felt more like dish soap than facial cleanser on my skin. Before using this cleanser, I had a skincare routine that worked for me (lesson learned: if it ain't broke, don't fix it), so I'm not sure what prompted me to suddenly try something new. At least a full month later and

So far, so good! - Skin Care

I am currently on retinoid treatment so my skin was quite dry. I use CeraVe Moisturizing Cleanser to combat dryness. While I love a moisturizing cleanser I find it boring lol. I decided to try the creamy foaming cleanser just to add some excitement to my skincare routine. I've only used it twice so far, but my skin feels clearer and more moisturized with a creamy lather than this hydrating cleanser. I wouldn't say the cleanser "lathers", there are a few bubbles, but I would say its texture is…

PERFECT for my oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin!

I just LOVE this cleaner and it will make a great addition to your collection. I've tried almost all of them and I've always felt that none of them work for my skin type. Their SA cleanser contains salicylic acid, so you can't use it every day because you're overly exfoliating your skin, and their other foaming cleanser contains niacinamide, which my sensitive skin has reacted badly to. And their moisturizing cleanser just doesn't completely cleanse oily skin. It's just perfect because it foams

"Does not dry " does not "moisten " otherwise great

I used to decide that Cerave cleaners weren't for me. A little background: I have fairly dry, but otherwise relatively normal skin. My skincare goals are to avoid sensitizing products, keep skin hydrated, prevent fine lines and oxidation, and avoid minor clogs (small closed comedones) or pimples. The Cerave moisturizing cleanser didn't work for me - not only because it didn't lather (I can deal with that) but also because it caused nasal congestion. On the other hand, a foaming cleanser dries…

Moisturizing Cleansing Wash

I used a cleansing cream and a moisturizing cleansing strip. It's definitely on par with the bar in terms of foaming. I find this cleanser makes my face cleaner than the original cream cleanser. My skin feels neither tight nor dry. My skin definitely feels hydrated and clear after using it so I will continue to use it.

Overdo long review Good for cleaning products

This review should have been written a long time ago. I have previously used the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser which I liked but ran out of it. The label says "for oily skin" which I don't have. I thought CeraVe should have a normal skin version and decided to find it on Revain. After searching, all I could find for normal skin was a product from CeraVe called Moisturizing Makeup Remover and Hyaluronic Acid Foam Cleanser. I didn't like it as much as the other one to begin with, but I continued

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises
