Scanners are worth every penny

Super easy to use and great results. So far only scanned slides. The results from 35mm were amazing. The 126 slides were a small image when scanned and difficult to see on the screen. I didn't adjust the color. A lot of my slides were from the 70's and the color wasn't that good anyway. A few hours of work in 2 days loaded 800 slides onto an SD card. I pulled my slides out of the trays so they were all in the right position to load the slides at all times. I give 2 boxes of free slides at the…

Artifacts have remained on the photographs, the software is decoy and substitute. Returned.

Had to return due to terrible artifacts and reflections. I first noticed this in a glossy photo taken underwater. The real scanner lens was clearly visible in the center of the image. As soon as I noticed it, I started seeing it in other photos. Also, there was a white reflection on the left side of the photos. I scanned over 100 photos in one day (various sizes and styles) and when I saw them I couldn't *not* see them. I didn't use slides or negative holders. The photo holder is visible and…

It works, just one slide at a time

Like me, your old slides probably never were of the quality of today's great digital camera images, but this little machine really brings them to your digital collection. It works as advertised, but try not to overload it with an oversized SD memory card. You need a 16GB card, not 32 or higher. It sounds counterintuitive, but the problem is that this reader needs to be able to process everything that's on the card, and more than 16GB is too much for normal operation. An easy way to digitize old priceless memories. No computer required

How many of you still have 35mm film? My parents do! How about 4"x6" and 5"x7" prints? Yes of course! Going digital took a lot of time: I had to take the prints, glue them onto 8x10 inch sheets, scan them at work, send the resulting PDF home and edit/crop it with Photoshop. Do you have slides? Take it!

I've been looking for slide scanners for a long time. I had 6 boxes of 35mm slides from the late 70's and early 80's while traveling the Olympic Mountains, Cascades and Mount Adams fairly regularly in Fort Lewis, Washington. When I was sent to Germany, I kept taking photos and ended up with about 1000 shots from both places. I'm not a big photographer, but I like to keep clicking.
