Broken - not worth the money

The plastic needle broke and I only had the sewing foot a few months. Don't waste your $20. You can get a much better 1/4 inch sewing foot for a lot less. I'm very disappointed and need to buy another one.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Annoys me

Weak plastic attachment to the sewing machine

The foot sewed stably for 2 months until one of the plastic pieces that attached the foot to the shaft worked perfectly. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • For pensioners

Not for my featherweight.

I bought this featherweight sewing machine foot. I don't really like featherweight, he stretches the seam at the beginning and at the end. Maybe I'm not using it correctly. I love the clear foot and have one on my Janome that I use regularly. I returned the original foot to Featherweight and will be using the 1/4" seam guide. Any suggestions for seam guides?

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

I didn't think I would like it but I really like it

I didn't think I would like this foot because it looked like cheap plastic and I didn't think it would slide on material, like a metal foot. However, my recently purchased 1955 Singer Featherweight 221K came without a quarter inch wide foot and there was no seam guide mark on the sewing plate, so I had to do something to sew a quarter inch seam. I was very surprised that I REALLY like this sewing foot! Whatever it is, it doesn't feel cheap at all. It's very strong and crisp (no distortion) andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • looking forward to it
Cons
  • embarrassed
