Must have tools. - Automotive Enthusiast Merchandise

Makes it easy to assemble the SBC on the workbench. No more fiddling with balancing threads or gouging out the crank head with wrenches or large sockets etc. Buy this tool.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • I really have no complaints about it, everything is fine

Recommended for infrequent use

So far very happy with this tool, taken care of and no problems at all, it works as it should. This is not strong steel, but softer aluminum.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mainly plastic

This head is so weak that it cannot rotate the 4 pistons built into the SBC. I can turn the crank by hand, but the drive is round and cracked. Not recommended when turning more than 30 ft.lbs

Pros
  • In stock
Cons
  • Negative present

It should work and the equipment is good. I read some reviews where customers broke them. They don't use them to build an engine if they break it. It is built strong enough to crank the engine during assembly.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Fits Chevrolet 327 Rotary Assembly Turning

Here comes the black one. never mind Fits like a glove on my 1962 SBC 327 crankshaft. I also made the mistake of engaging the clutch when trying to start the engine. The whole car was moved. I recommend using with heads and compression. no But he could handle a spinning engine and a moving car. So I suspect moving the rotating assembly will not be a problem.

Pros
  • Designed for Chevrolet 1965-1992. with small blocks, V6 and 4-cylinder engines
Cons
  • Without automatic

Should work fine to spin a rotating node, but .

TL DR: Again, this tool should be great for turning a new assembly, but don't expect it to loosen stuck pistons. This head fits very well on the nose of the crankshaft. There is little wiggle room. Just the right amount. This product (and hence the reduction of the star) consists of two parts. The center piece, which may contain a ratchet or breaker (1/2 inch drive piece), is inserted into the main body of the bushing and secured to it with roll pins (one on each side). I think they do it to…

Pros
  • Use a 1/2 in. breaker or ratchet.
Cons
  • Available in black only.
