Tripod adapter diameter too large to fit quick release. My choice was to omit the quick release adapter and just use a tripod mount or push hard and hope the quick release doesn't break. The two adapters are now together without breaking, but it never "quickly separates" - they are permanently connected due to the extremely tight fit! There has to be a better product than this!

I needed a quick release mount for my GoPro that would fit a standard tripod screw. These guys were the only suppliers I could find. It works great allowing me to switch my GoPro from car to tripod in seconds. The first assignment was to film hummingbirds at our bird feeders. I don't really need another mount that comes with the quick release. But the price was good and I got what I need. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for. We have all kinds of specialty mounts for our GoPro, but we also have multiple sizes and types of tripods that we use with our DSLR. There were times when we said we'd like to connect our GoPro to these tripods. Voila! That's it. We haven't had them long enough to give any durability reports but so far the quality seems great and the fit seems as good as any GoPro branded product.
