The weight is deceptive.

Beautiful little unit. When I first unboxed it, I was concerned about its performance due to the weight. I was happy to see that the weight wasn't an issue. Works great, no problems. A friend helped me and he said he would buy this device too. He bought his last device 20 years ago and was amazed at how well the little device worked.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Not worth it, even for $120

Even if the car came intact, the controls don't make sense. Purchased for the 110/220 option, AC/DC output, portability and at least 120 amp output. I need to control the AC/DC output manually, not some "smart auto-correction". When my welding instructor tried to weld 1/8 steel at 110 volts and he couldn't start.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Only available in white

Excellent little arc welder!

3/32 6011 received, quickly unpacked, connected, installed, cranked 90 and bent on a 1/4 inch piece of rusty plate. creates a stable smooth arc. He burned a good line with decent penetration! The thing works really well! Super (and I mean SUPER) easy! The cables are a bit short. But they do give you an extra set of connectors so you can make your own cables. Overall, this is exceptional value!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

The little welder who doesn't give up

This welder is amazing. It was very affordable, easy to use, and could be used in a garage with limited power issues. The outlets in my garage are connected to a 15 amp circuit breaker and I was very concerned that I wouldn't be able to use the welder without jumping through a lot of hoops. I'm happy to report that this little welder did everything I asked him to do and I never flipped the switch. If you are looking for a welder, look no further.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are nuances

Quick test welding & soldering

Finally trying out the welding machine. I collected the "third hand” and will cook it later. I only used 110V. since I'm tack welding. It was good in terms of strength. I stuck the rod several times. I'm not sure if it was me or the welder. It would be nice if the leads were three times as long. They're a little short. I have to do something about that in the future. I'll work on that later and see how it performs at 220V and longer weld times. But it hit 110v.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative impression

1st time tried to use and it doesn't work - UPDATE!

Thought I'd buy it, trying to use it now, a month and a half later, and it doesn't even work, can't give zero stars, so 1st update. After not hearing from Amazon or the manufacturer despite having a 4 year plan (just in case) I disassembled the thing. When I found a couple of disconnected wires, I did the obvious and plugged them back in. Viola and Eureka, it works and I would like to add that it works well. So far 1/16 is the highest I've gone through, but still. Be careful as it is…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great little machine.

I am not a professional welder. I just needed something to do home projects like building bike frames, shooting targets, and welding trailers. The thing works great! Much better than I expected for the price. I particularly like how easy it was to strike the arc. No problem. Did a test weld on regular 110v household current with the machine set for 80 amps and it worked great. I'll increase the amperage and do something else later, and then I'll update this post. I would definitely buy it again

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Damaged

This little guy, and I mean small because he's small, works a lot better than I expected. I've only used it on a 110v 30 amp circuit with the output set to a minimum of 30 amps and a maximum of 125 amps. At 125 amps, it wasn't difficult to weld two pieces of mild steel 1/4 inch diameter and about 12 inches long together with 6013 5/32 inch rods. I would say this machine is perfect for any hobbyist or weekend enthusiast. What I can't confirm is how it holds up under constant use. However, I have

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Decent 160 amp welder wrong wires

The first thing I did with this welder when I got it was compare the current shown to the actual current so I know what I was getting really am. I use it when I'm trying to weld. This is not a 250 amp welder, the maximum output is 162 amps and the wattage does not change when you set the display to 200 amps. Below are the values I measured.
