Cryptopia hack I lose my everything
I would not count on ever getting any money back. I lost almost everything a year ago on Cryptopia when they wouldnt release a transaction to the blockchain due to "unscheduled maintenance". I got a sick feeling in my stomach when I saw there was no way to contact them and read all the scam accusations. They never responded to my ticket and I reported them to the Financial Markets Authority in NZ. Surprise Surprise a year later they are still ripping people off. Just google cryptopia and scam and you will see 99% of the results are prior to this latest "hack".
I would be amazed if they ever emailed their clients or ever offer any compensation,
I can only hope my post from a year ago urging everyone to stay away has saved at least one person.
Pros
- Its cryptocurrency exchange
Cons
- Hacked and did't given holders money yet while bitcoin mooning
- What I like least about this exchange is that it has very little volume and therefore few whales do not trade in it, the price for raising a coin to that exchange seems a bit high
- Cryptopia is notorious for refusing to do coin splits, migrations or distributions. Karma bit them on the a*s if they f**ked up the aborted ETH fork.
