Review on LGBTQ Network Foundation by Benaiah A. Akinlade

A sentimental project rather than financially oriented

I have vehemently been in an open opposition to crypto currency projects created for sentimental reasons. Most of these projects are developed without any business strategy in mind as they only cherish the possible publicity the project will provide.
People are stereotyped for various reasons ranging from height, skin color, ascent, and also sexuality among many other stereotypes. This has been an age long battle that has been in existence since time immemorial that seems not to end.
The need for equal treatment and general acceptance brought about desperation from so many people that are violently affected by those perpetrating these stereotypes. One of those needs for acceptability is what gave birth to the LGBTQ foundation that creates a social networking community through social media microblogging app on Apple and Android devices in order to foster healthy communication and support, both legally and financially (Sponsorships & Scholarships) for its members.
The native token of the project is LGBTQ which is currently an Ethereum based token pending the time the LGBTQ blockchain will be built in the near future. The token is a decentralized payment token in the global ecosystem. It is in plans to make the token to be the source of payment for all transactions in the community such as sending money between users, hotels, site attractions and payments in stores. There will also will option to purchase a wide variety of gift cards in the App with the LGBTQ token.
Many of the crypto wallets that supports the Eth blockchain can be used to hold the LGBTQ token such as AlphaWallet, MetaMask, MyEtherWallet, Coinbase, Trust Wallet, MEET .ONE among others.
This project is still in the works and has not kick started most of its plans. As much as the project is a noble one in all of its entirety, I don’t believe it is a necessary project as it was borne out of the need for acceptability from a larger population of the human race rather than improving the financial liberty of the human population. I have not seen any crypto exchange, wallet, or project whatsoever that does not allow people of different sexual orientation to trade their assets. I can’t foresee a great future for this project.

Pros
  • The project was created with a noble purpose of equality and acceptability in mind
  • It is backed with the strength of the Ethereum blockchain
Cons
  • The project is not really necessary, because people with different sexual orientation can have equal access to the services this project is proposing without being part of the LGBTQ community
