My review about the Ontology project.
Today i want to share my experience with Ontology.
The marketing slogan of ontology is "Trust Redefined".
It's pretty accurate because the goal of ontology is to develop and provide several products to self sovereign your ID and data.
They are currently offering several protocols, apps and services which offer features for this goal:
ONT ID is a decentralized identity framework. It uses the blockchain and cryptographic technology to protect user privacy and ensures data security.
DDXF is a decentralized protocol which allows the tokenization of data.
ONTO is an app to store your data and ID in a secure wallet. It also supports several tokens. If you are a fan of DAPPs, you can search for other useful DAPPs directly in this app.
SAGA is a decentralized data marketplace where you can monetize aquired data.
Conclusion:
I used the ONTO app and the ONT ID protocol for myself, Ontology is a great project which offers unique products for storing, securing and transfering data.
Ontology is one of the older crypto projects, many people get the feeling that the progress of these old projects are too slow. There are many good examples that this feeling is true. Ontology isn't one of these examples. They make slow but steady progress, it still has a huge community/ user base and nearly every big exchange supports the ONT coin.
Personally I'm not an investor of the project but i guess the chances that this project will survive aren't that bad.
Pros
- Ontology offers great, working products.
- Most exchanges supports the ONT Coin.
- Slow but steady progress, not a "dead" project.
Cons
- Lack of marketing (at least in the western world).
- Their SAGA product currently have issues with their certificates. So you get an error if you want to access it with your browser.

Perhaps, I like so much Ontology because it is really committed to becoming a change in our current world. Moreover, it is a multi-protocol supporter project. That gives the blockchain a whole overview to draw a better ecosystem without borders.
I'm neither an investor, but I could consider it a good choice for the future of this project. Ontology started as many projects, it means, without being recognized everywhere, and now, it has even a stunning community through social media. I entered their Telegram channel, and I can see how they are updating the news about its current offers.

Of course, there are still countries that do limit the use of cryptocurrencies, limiting the market for the ONT project, but given their plans in Latin America, a medium-term expansion has been generated, then the Venezuelan blockchain association will form a community bond with the Ontology program. Trust me there is. In the western world no ody knows Ontology, its not very famous here. Also a lot of european people stay away from NEO, i don't know why. Ontology has to do some work to change that.

Ontology is a very diverse project and seeks to provide much needed services in the market. Onchain is a highly respected company with strong ties to the Chinese government. The future of ontology looks flourishing, so I don’t think there is a huge lack of marketing.
