Overview of the Vodzsla Tri-Screen Portable Monitor for a laptop

Before I start writing this short review of this product, I want to make a few discoveries. I am a general computer user with no experience in writing product reviews and have no affiliation with the company that makes Vodzsla portable monitors for laptops. Also, what I write is my personal opinion based on my observations after using this product for about two months. This review does not cover all aspects of this product. The pandemic has allowed us to be flexible about how and where we work; or consider being our offices. For those who sometimes work remotely, you often have to admit that, even just at home; They often work in different rooms or locations for different reasons. Some of us even work while traveling. All that matters to most employers is increased productivity, no matter where you work. For the above reasons, I decided to search for a portable laptop monitor that would allow me to achieve the beauty of multiple monitors on a single device. Vodzsla Portable Tri-Screen for Notebook gave me the opportunity to enjoy three screens instead of just one. Working with two or three screens is always easier and more efficient than with one. This is because you can have multiple applications or windows open at the same time, e.g. B.: a messaging application, a collaboration application while still working in an application such as a word processor or PowerPoint presentation, or running without code on the server You must use Alt + Tab (on a Windows computer) to switch between these different windows or applications. as opposed to working on a single monitor. Before purchasing this product, be sure to read the product specifications (especially the connection ports) and compare them with the specifications of your laptop. If your laptop doesn't have a USB-C port, you won't be able to take full advantage of this product. What I like about this product is that the out-of-the-box instruction manual is short and fairly detailed; This gives me the minimal amount of time I need to go through and set it up. It comes with all accessories (cables) needed for setup; No need to waste time buying additional cables. Once properly plugged in, the device boots to display the desktop with no additional configuration required (although not sure if the same is the case with a Mac computer). It's basically a plug and play device (don't worry about downloading and installing drivers). The different rotation angles of the two screens allow you to rotate them to different positions depending on what you are doing and what you want to achieve. For example, by rotating the left screen 235 degrees, you can conveniently rotate the left screen toward the back of your laptop so others can see your screen while you demonstrate something while all sitting at the same table. The screens are large enough to comfortably handle any task that can be performed on a regular laptop or tablet. The adjustable nature of the triple screen holder provides the flexibility of the screen to accommodate laptops of different lengths. However, the screen resolution is optimal for my likeness; This is a menu option that allows you to change some settings like brightness, color, contrast, resolution, etc. The top latches and bottom brackets provide a degree of security to securely attach or attach the screen to your laptop (assuming the laptop is going to be stationary). Things I don't really like about this product that could be improved are: mounting latches and brackets; If it were possible to provide a locking mechanism once installed or attached to the laptop, that would be great. This will prevent the laptop screen from falling off when you try to move it from one place to another or work with it on your lap (isn't it a laptop after all?). The plastic latches on the bottom of the screen look like they aren't as strong as the top latches, so they're easy to break. The non-adjustable nature of the latches and mounts to accommodate laptops of varying thickness poses a problem when attaching the device to a laptop for those who have not paid enough attention to the screen and laptop specs to ensure they are compatible are. Based on the price tag. of this product and the amount of performance, convenience and flexibility I've achieved so far, I think the pros of the Vodzsla laptop monitor outweigh its cons and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Pros
  • Worked great, great fit and image quality. I definitely recommend this product.
Cons
  • The screen, which is folded outwards, can easily be damaged, and there is no transport protection.
