The best on the market for laptops and consoles

I bought it to use as a portable gaming monitor for my PC and Xbox One and it did the job perfectly. The metal body is solid and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The buttons on the left side of the monitor for power, input source, volume, and menu are mechanical buttons and not the capacitive touch buttons found on many monitors. While the buttons themselves are a little awkward to press (I recommend using the included remote for menu work), it's nice to have mechanical buttons that I can feel in the dark when needed. The built-in speakers aren't something you'll want to use on a regular basis, as you'd expect (there's a headphone jack on the right side of the monitor that I use most of the time), but the speakers get loud enough for me if I'm caught without headphones or external speakers. After playing around with the color settings for a while (I had to shift the yellows and greens to the left and play around with their saturation levels a bit, increase the backlight setting and set the color temperature to 7500), the image quality is very good - none "High-end gaming monitor" but overall everything looks sharp, colors are reasonably balanced, and the viewing angle is such that two people sitting a reasonable distance apart should see the image just fine, with little Distortion. no drop in brightness n off I don't usually notice ghosting, and while I can't get accurate measurements of input lag, I've used monitors with less than 16ms input lag (less than 1 frame) in the past, and this monitor doesn't feel far from it . The 17" is the perfect travel size in my opinion - it's *just* small enough to fit in a suitcase, large holdall or 17" laptop bag, but big enough to sit at a decent distance and Anyway, most of the time I've played on this monitor I've spent playing Halo 5 (Xbox One), Overwatch (PC), and Fortnite (PC), with a few retro shooters in between ( Metal Slug, Raiden, Dodonpachi). While I wouldn't go any smaller than this screen size, this size seems perfect for what I used it for. In a pinch, it also worked well for on-the-go PC use and software development. Finally, a tip about the included soft case - it protects the screen very well, but it's a tight fit. I had the best luck by inserting the monitor into most of the case and then inserting a corner of the case tab over the corner of the monitor pulled to start it. If you need something relatively durable for frequent travel, especially for gaming (both PC and console) I'd recommend this. So far I haven't found anything better on the market for something like this.
