Review on Same Day Music by Brian Bloomfield

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No minimum purchase required on Same Day Music

After spending some time digging in the Internet for information about this e-commerce site (i was looking for reviews or anything at all) i couldn't find anything.  Apparently, they don't sell any goods on their website and the only thing that is shown there are ads by Amazon which is not strange considering SameDayMusic is owned by Amazon.

So after my research, they revealed to me that my band bought Pro Tools recording software from them back in 2007 when we opened our account on ReverbNation. So if you're reading this guys, thanks again!

Anyway, i wanted to write my review considering they're slowly becoming more popular due to the success of Music Marketing Manifesto.  And also because a lot of musicians ask me about my findings for this site without actually sharing their own.

I'm glad to share them with you!

"Learn how to make REAL MONEY on the Internet after becoming an expert at internet marketing. No experience needed, full training is provided."

What they sell: All music-making software like Fruity Loops, Ableton Live and Pro Tools (not sure if it's legit).  They're also selling some production hardware like synthesizers and drum machines. They also offer classes for learning how to use Cakewalk's Sonar , Propellerhead's Reason , Apple Logic Studio 9 and others production softwares .

How they sell: It seems that SameDayMusic is not a marketplace so they're not holding any inventory. Instead they sell from a third party which is usually Amazon.com but you can discover other products on their website too.

My experience: In my case, this was the first site i bought music software from when i moved to LA in 2007 and started producing music for my band.  I didn't know what to expect when buying from there because i knew nothing about the internet back then so that's why i'm writing my review today in order to help others who might consider doing the same thing in the future just like I did back then.

What they WILL NOT tell you: SameDayMusic / Amazon is really strict with payment methods, there is only one available by default which is PayPal . So if you want to use another payment method than i suggest opening an account with Amazon BEFORE buying anything on this site.

What i liked: -  Unbeatable price! ( Pro Tools is $400 cheaper than anywhere else).

- They offer training courses which might be useful for some people.

-  They updated my software without any problems

It's true that SameDayMusic doesn't sell any goods, but they do provide a one-stop package for getting music production software.  You can buy the most popular products in this industry like Pro Tools and Fruity Loops with unbeatable prices without needing to leave your home or office.

Pros
  • No minimum purchase required
  • Ground shipping is offered
Cons
  • Their ads are annoying.
  • I bought Pro Tools from them and it was not legit
  • There was another thing that annoyed me....I got an email from them saying that someone was trying to access my account (my guess is the hacker who's trying to find new ways of breaking
  • They're expensive if you're not using PayPal.
