Ball spring pops out, Allen key material is soft, corners are rounded. Other keys are not needed, just flat. Bad buy on my part.

The tool is scrap, the bolt does not hold at all. Once you apply some torque to the wrench, it will flex and begin to slide around the bolt. This is a very poor quality tool.

Fixed my Mercedes fan clutch and found a few other uses for these unusual tools. Do it yourself and save the cost of a mechanic and leave the tool to other uses!

As a professional mechanic, I am very happy with this purchase. These tools are well made and STRONG, unlike many of the flimsy kits that have flooded the market. The case keeps the tools safe, but if you want to hang them on the wall, each tool has a hole for that purpose. You can spend a lot more on expensive names, but this set does the same job and lasts just as long. Highly recommended!

I originally bought the kit for a 2000 Mercedes Benz E430 because I needed to replace a pulley and the fan was in the way. It worked great. A few weeks later the same customer required a water pump replacement and I had to remove the fan clutch. I used one of the tools (36mm I think) from the same set and it worked great. This is a great kit for BMW, Mercedes and of course some home cars.

The quality was ok as far as I could use the set. Unfortunately it didn't work for what I needed. If you are removing the fan on an M119 engine (SL500 in my case) you will need something to hold the pulley while you loosen or tighten the fan's center bolt (the included 8mm allen key will do the trick). The kit includes a 40mm tool that fits the pulley bolts, but there is no way to insert a tool between the fan and pulley. However, I managed to hold the pulley in place by inserting one of the…
