My 2011 Chevy Malibu ran with traction control.

My 2011 Chevy Malibu had a traction control sensor and I lost power while driving. Did some research and it was because they originally came with a loss plug. Fixed and deleted some ODB codes.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

My 11 year old Equinox has engine light on, dealer said to replace gas I decided to buy the same Acdelco and to replace it, it took 10 minutes to replace it. Has been working flawlessly for 2 weeks. If you want to reconnect, buy an ODB 2 to clear the engine light code.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

20 minutes of chat! No more low power mode

Screwed this little guy into my 2011 site in just 20 minutes. This is not a problem, a simple fix for idle trouble codes troubling the 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine. The engines in many GM vehicles that trigger the low power message are Stabilitrac. Didn't even have to do any "retraining". Quick and painless and the response seems better and no more check engine light or power saving mode!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some trouble

Great part. Easy to install by yourself.

I have a 2010 CHEVY Equinox and it fit and worked great. You will need to purchase a new gasket as it is not included. (COPY AND PASTE) ACDelco 217-3396 Since the throttle position sensor is built into the throttle body, you may need to replace the entire sensor. This is something you can definitely do yourself because it's right in front of you. Go to YouTube and see for yourself. It took me less than 20 minutes. Hope this is helpful.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Bad experience

Don't pay the dealer!

Fixed shaking and 'Reduced engine power' message issue in our 2.4 Equinox. Rock out with Advance or Autozone and have them read the codes - it shows throttle position if that's the problem. Buy a new gasket with it, it's not in TB. Super easy installation, don't pay the dealer! All you need is a flathead screwdriver, a 10mm socket, a ratchet and a 3" extension! Lasts a maximum of 30 minutes. I disconnected the negative battery terminal while swapping the throttle bodies.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Newer model could have been selected

Currently the car runs the same as before

A few scratches on the sheet metal but right after installation my car runs great. No check engine light, STILL runs smoothly. Car battery, everything set up and the cable sent back. Started the car in park for 3 minutes, started the car at max air for 3 minutes, turned the car off for a minute, restarted and started a light ride. Idling below 1000 rpm. Feels so good I did it and paid $100 instead of $300+. I will update this review in a few months to let buyers know if the part is durable.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Cleanliness

DO NOT BUY good ones for fuel injection

I bought this item in January and installed it on my 2011 GMC Terrain because my old one broke. I drove 77 miles to get to work this morning and as soon as I drive to work my Stabiltrak goes off and the service light comes on. Drive 30mph to the nearest dealership, they run the code, unaware that the new AC Delco throttle body has fired. DO NOT BUY THIS PART! Spend a little more money and buy the original OEM from the dealer. Now I have to figure out how to get the car 77 miles home aside from…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • packaging is ugly
