Product arrived with all parts listed and in new condition. The arrival was also very fast. For a small solder pad it works very well and the parts bins are serviceable and unobtrusive. The resistivity of the ESD mat is higher than my multimeter can measure (as listed) so I can't check the spec. I take it by faith.

Nice mat for working with electronics. Heat resistant, leaves no marks and will not be cut. Anti-static straps are useful, you need a grounding socket, I made my own from a spare three-wire cord (cut off the ungrounded contacts from the plug and tape the hot and neutral wires). Small parts squares at the top are handy for component storage. I would like an even larger version of the same rug.

So I chose this more expensive mat over others because they try to list resistivity while others claim ESD safety without giving numbers. With a measuring device measuring several hundred megohms and contact surfaces of any size very close together, the mat is "open". I'm assuming the mat is regular silicone that doesn't dissipate static electricity. I give 2 stars because the carpet is actually very nice.

I like this anti-static mat, although there was more than enough room to safely house an ATX motherboard and take full advantage of the appropriate slots; Next time I might use a little more. The only downside was not being able to fit all the tools (different sized screwdrivers etc) in the same space, but that's ok, my main concern was to secure the hardware and keep track of the screws and such. This is an anti-static mat. I'm not a fan of the anti-static cloth straps that come with the kit - I like the durability of the stretchy metal watch-style straps with full wrist contact, but it's nice that they include one and I have no reason to believe it will last a few dozen sometimes not - after that they (generally speaking) get fat and sweaty from dressing and undressing.
