fast but check the expiration date

I bought this bottle of 100 strips. The short expiration date came when I was less than halfway through. After that, the test becomes unreliable and difficult to match by color. But this is a good product. Just buy a smaller bottle if you don't use it very often.

Not great, but doesn't work

Heed another reviewer's warning if you really want this product: get a small bottle! I ignored it and got this bottle anyway, and like the other person, my bottle arrived just a few months past its expiration date, meaning I'll probably have to throw away at least half, if not more. The real reason I don't like this product is that you use a vial and you have to shake the strips in the vial for 30 seconds, which is really tedious when testing multiple aquariums. I prefer quick reading and will…

Not very accurate but good for monitoring changes

I like this product because it's relatively quick and easy. Regular ammonia testing takes about 15-20 minutes to show accurate results, but it only takes about 3 minutes from start to finish. This product has one major drawback and that is accuracy. The test has never been anywhere near accurate compared to the other two traditional test kits that use a vial and chemical drops for 15-20 minutes to display results. I think this is a good "quick" test, but should not be used as the only test. Now
