12-inch Metric and Inches Rulers by U.S. Toy (Model SS-UST-7900) Review

I bought these rulers to make candy-free valentines for my son's friends for a valentine's party (we found a phrase that says "you're right"). The rulers came as described, nothing fancy just regular clear plastic rulers of different colors. The quality seems good, they aren't too flimsy and the transparency helps to use them properly.

I did not receive the product shown in the picture. As a teacher I bought these because they are cheap and have the same customs markings. What I received had different random inch intervals, and not all had quarter and half division marks. This would be very confusing for a student learning to measure. Not recommended for school use. I come back.

They are incredibly thin, it feels like I could break them in half with very little effort but that's to be expected for the price I guess. My pack was also opened and there were only 7 in it. I'm assuming the measurement markings are correct, so they'll probably work if you just need them for measuring, but they won't even make a great ruler because they're so flimsy.

I teach 3rd grade and these rules have strange, contradictory labels. My kids can't use them. My set was standard, but there were also a few inconsistent metric measurements in the rules. For example, on the inch side, halfway between 3 and 4 inches, it says the number 8. I have no idea why. Some inches also had millimeter markings, but not the entire page of the norm.
