Completely unnecessary, but still like it!

This is one of the most unwanted and ridiculously expensive baby items I own, but I can't help but love it. Common sense tells me I might as well cook food on the stovetop and grind it in a blender, even more than the Beaba Babycook allows, but it's such an adorable little device with such a simple cooking process that it totally motivates me to to use it, and that's why we have a freezer full of baby food cubes. However, it is definitely NOT suitable for reheating food - I followed the…

It makes cooking a pleasure

I am not a chef or even a culinary specialist. I bought it hoping it would make cooking easy and convenient for my 7 month old baby and it is. I spend most of my weekends making all kinds of baby food because it's so fun and so easy. Before I got Babycook I used my miracle cure, which was also easy but nowhere near as convenient as having to boil apples (I don't have a steamer) and then I could only make a small batch at a time. Time, since the wonder weapon can only handle limited space and…

Loafer Mama's dream

I like this gadget. Compact, All-in-One, Easy to Use, FOOL PROOF and . gives me the CONFIDENCE to prepare meals for my child. I've read tons of web reviews and blogs about this product and reviewers seem to miss/misunderstand my mother's "category". I cook when I can. I bake when I get the chance, though. basically I don't have the time or the confidence to do something "new". And clear some dishes! So many blogs out there are penalizing Beaba buyers for wasting money - and urging us to buy…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Sad equipment

This is the first product review that I have had to write about Revain. Bought because most prepared baby food is gross and I wanted an easy way to serve fresh food to our son. This product is highly rated and I like gadgets so I found it apt. It worked well in terms of being handy and making baby food, but after about 3 weeks I noticed that the water used for steaming was brown and smelled sweet. I looked inside the tank and noticed brown dirt all over the metal and a sickeningly sweet smell…

Great customer service

I have read many reviews of Beaba and other similar products and also spoken to my cousin who has used Beaba on her two girls for two years. She also writes for a children's website, where she does extensive research on children's products. She told me that she has never had any problems with mold or any of the other issues that people report. I wanted to make sure I was buying something worthwhile, especially given the high price. I'm sure you're worried about the mold problem and how to clean

Pros
  • Everything great!

Beaba Babycook makes family meals easier

After reading some of the reviews I almost got scared and I'm glad I didn't. The first two were prepared in portions by children who are now 3 and 4 years old. When it came time to switch my 6 month old to solid food, I wanted to cook his meals at home too. But with less time and space in the freezer, portioning just wasn't possible. I wanted to cook him a meal using the ingredients I used for family dinners. Attempting to grind small amounts in a regular sized blender or processor is not…
