Well done. - Safety and Survival

Very well made. Not at all like the usual thin rescue blankets that tear easily. It doesn't fold down to the size of a cigarette pack like the cheap ones, but if you ever need a survival blanket then this is exactly what you need.

Pros
  • Rugged Finish
Cons
  • Upgrades

Ideal for the bed as a body heat reflector.

Not extensively tested. I use Bearhard 5.0 as a heat reflector under the mattress lining between the bunk and the sleeper's comforters. A sleeping friend of mine says she no longer has cramps or back pain after putting this on her bed! She stated that it kept her warm.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Safety

seems strong! - Camping

Bought to wrap a travel dog crate in a thick wool blanket in late fall/spring (we use a carrier under the porch as a kennel). It's very rare to get a windy rain on this porch, but for $17, it's warmer in both wind protection and heat reflection (and of course, will hold up the quilt in the very rare windblown rain this side of the house dry). used a set as a hang in front of the fire and was amazed at the heat reflecting off the fire onto my back! Tiny ones tear easily - this can be used as a…

Very durable and definitely recyclable. Worth buying.

I bought this to use as an emergency blanket for my car. It comes folded in a thick transparent plastic zip bag, which can also be reused. I picked it up and unpacked it as soon as it arrived. I wouldn't call it a blanket. In fact, this is a medium-weight insulated tarp. Does it work like a blanket to keep you warm, dry and protected from wind, cold, rain, snow, etc.? Absolutely! It folds very easily and is definitely recyclable. When folded, it takes up about as much space as a small folding…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Thin, crumpled, disposable, but nice digital camouflage print

I don't like to write negative reviews, but I will write an honest one. Let's call it a "criticism sandwich". Cons - The description is misleading if you thought it was a long term investment, say 6 months. If you're using it as an emergency shelter or blanket it can certainly help for a night, but I highly doubt it will withstand medium to high winds. The tarp itself is stiff, not as pliable or as thick as the regular tarp you get at Home Depot. There are only four grommets on each corner, but

seems strong! in Rescue Blankets

Bought this to wrap a heavy wool blanket around a portable dog crate (we use the stretcher under our porch as a kennel) in late fall/spring. It very rarely gets windy rain on this porch, but for $17 it's warmer in both wind protection and heat reflection (and of course keeps the quilt dry in the very rare windy rain from this side of the house). used a set as a slope in front of the fire and was amazed at the heat reflecting off the fire onto my back! Tiny ones tear easily - this can be used as

Pros
  • VERSATILE AND DURABLE. Equipped with 4 reinforced grommets and 4 iron stakes, this large 5ft x 7ft blanket is suitable for any outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, climbing, boating, hunting and more. Reinforced stitching on all sides makes the rug even more durable for a variety of shelter configurations in extreme conditions.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
