Good book. I'm new to Kumihimo (I've learned how to spell it, but the pronunciation needs a bit of thought). I didn't have a hard time following the patterns.

I love this book, the information is easy to understand. This is a good book for beginners and intermediates. From using 4 threads to 16 threads. The more braids you make, the easier the process will be. I hope everyone will have as much fun learning how to weave Japanese braids as I did.

I have 8 other kumihimo books and I sincerely recommend adding this book to everyone's kumihimo library. It takes you through several different disc and plate weaves, not just endless color variations of the same round weave as in some other books. So if you are looking for other textures or ways to play with braids, this is one to check out.
