I am so disappointed in this doll bed for my 2 year old daughter. We ordered this for my daughter for Christmas and only opened it up to set up on Christmas Eve when she was asleep. I was shocked at the condition the item was delivered in. A few pieces of wood and paint were missing/peeling off. The stairs arrived broken. Collect this for Christmas. I didn't want to pay $300 for an American Girl Signature bed. My little girl loves it and overall she seems pretty sturdy. The price was incredible. However, the duvets are small. They are not suitable for 18 inch dolls. I plan to sew them side by side which will work great. I got a different duvet for the 2nd bed. The bunk bed is very cute and just the right size for American Girl dolls. The problem with this bed is that the small wooden pins that connect the top bed to the bottom bed break easily. This is my second set of these bunk beds and the wooden pins on both are broken meaning the top bunk is no longer holding up. The second problem is the underside of the beds. First positive result. This product works. It was easy to build, fits a standard 18 inch doll, will update with the picture, but the bed really fits this size doll, especially Target's Our Generation doll. It comes with pillows, duvet and a small mattress topper (same thickness as the duvet, just slightly narrower, separate).
