🔌 RecPro RV USB Charging Port: Dual Charger Socket, Black Recessed Mount for RV, Camper, Trailer Review

Used twice in a special entertainment center built during my RV renovation. Worked perfectly. And fast charging for phones isn't that hot for iPads.

Installed in my camper. Plugged into 12 volts and now my wife and I can charge our devices right next to our bed. I also use a small USB fan for cooling.

So I ordered 2 of these first to install overhead in our RV bedroom. You worked about 10 minutes and quit! So I made a return. When I went to replace it I found a loose wire, it wasn't the charger. So I repaired it and installed a replacement that Amazon sent me between the sofa and dining area. I'm very happy with them, but it's only been a week. The time will show. I think I used a 1 1/4" hole saw bit. They're the perfect depth to mount them under a cabinet in the same dead space as my lights

I bought two of these ports and to my surprise only one port drew 12W and the other around 6W. The description alludes to this statement "12 watts (one port)" apparently confusing "eins" in the singular and "connections" in the plural, which is misleading. Unit does NOT come with screws but is great for RV's due to its shallow depth and pre-wired unit. As mentioned in the answer to the question, make sure you have it plugged in correctly. My old device had black and red wires. This block has black and white wires. So I thought of connecting black to black and red to white but it didn't work. After flashing it worked.
