Ideal for door removal

This mirror kit is perfect for our 1999 Jeep Wrangler when doors need to be removed in the summer. We tested this by living 2 miles of grated gravel. Doesn't rattle or move.

Mirrors are very easy to install

mirrors are very easy to install. Just unscrew the screws that are already on the windshield and this mount can stay right there. There is no need to permanently remove it. Open the Jeep doors and put on those mirrors! A large viewing mirror works great for me too!

no place to attach to TJ without modification

I wanted a mirror so my Jeep didn't have doors. I didn't want to spend $50 on something I only use occasionally. after the change it worked. The installation is quite complicated - you need a wrench every time, but it can be done.

  • Outside Mirror

Trembles at idle, not effective as a real tool.

Some buy this just to be legal with the doors open. It does. However, if you also need a feature, look elsewhere. I attached it directly to the tube doors, as soon as I started my jeep it started shaking, not even faintly, I mean I can't tell what you see in the mirror, like a tremor. I checked the tightness of the fasteners and found that this was caused by a slight hollow shoulder. I use a motorcycle mirror instead, which doesn't wobble despite being made out of poor materials, and the only…
