The. Skip this article for outdoor activities

The lid is so tight I have to put it on. Will not work. Glad to have given the kid another try otherwise they would have been reimbursed with coffee.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Good but not great

The aluminum is of very poor quality.

Coffee tastes like brewed aluminum, doesn't clean well and is incredibly poor quality. If the percolator was stainless steel it would most likely happen, but the taste.

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Terrible product in camping and tourism

Certainly none of the Colemans have ever made anything remotely close to a decent cup in this coffeemaker disaster - gotta give it to someone who likes weak brown water. And yes, I followed the instructions. Terrible product that makes me think twice before buying anything from Coleman again.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Empty

Disappointed good for coffee and tea pots

Nice peppers/pot, NO. Perk and basket VERY LIGHT ALUMINUM, .NOT stainless steel.(from description)"Material stainless steel brand Coleman". "About this product-Made from the highest quality materials" [#1. It's not!] I've seen these pieces peeling off here in my kitchen. I don't want it to be camping. -- It's sad that "Coleman" is putting his name on this product.

Convenient for glamping, lid difficult to remove when hot

In general, the kettle is good. Boils water, makes decent camp coffee, works well on a camp grill or campfire. But what the heck were they thinking when they designed this tiny handle with a ridge on the lid?! The pot cannot be removed when hot as the lid looks like molten lava. So you try to take it off with an oven mitt, but that stupid handle is so small you can't grab it! Poorly designed by someone who spends most of their life playing in the basement instead of testing devices out in the…

Perfect for what I wanted

I wanted something I could use to make camping coffee - I don't use a coffee maker, I put ground coffee in a pot, add water and bring the water to a boil , Reduce heat to low simmer and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Turn off the fire, pour through a permanent filter, Viola, the most delicious coffee in the world. Those who say the problem is with the lid don't seem to understand, there is a small protrusion on the lid that sticks to the rim of the pan. Position the profile towards the handle and the…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • So far so good

Beautiful, nicely made, but not a true 9 cup (6 oz/cup) coffee maker

If you use a coffee maker, the 9th cup draws water right under the coffee maker and in my estimation too close. The water levels in the image are directly on the last raised ring from the bottom. The pot running up is the 4 (6 oz) cup line, the 8 (6 oz) cup line is just above the first line with a pot spout. and cup line 9 (6 oz) between the 2nd row of holes (2 holes) and the 3rd row (3 holes). I chose this pot because the top was separate from the pot, which is what I wanted. It's sad that…

Piece of Trash: You have been warned!

Okay, where to start? There are so many issues with this perk that I don't even know what to say. The lid is loose. It flies off constantly and due to the material it can easily chip, tear or break. You have to hold it when you pour it, but then it gets so hot you can burn yourself. Touch after the coffee is ready so you don't burn yourself without a potholder. The basket is really shallow, I don't think it holds as much coffee grounds as my old perk. The stick that holds the basket doesn't…
