very satisfied: thermometer

That's right. Pretty easy to use. The magnet holder holds up well. The sensor cable is a good length and does not interfere with the door seals.

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works perfectly! for temperature and humidity

The traceable control is very precise. The inclusion of a liquid git eliminates the wild temperature swings emanating from these types of temperature sensors when the fridge/freezer door is open. Works as described. Very happy with the product.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

Great solution for my freezer.

Exactly. The only weak point is where the wire enters the vial cap. I placed the vial in the medicine vial and fed a wire through the cap to relieve the stress from the connection to the vial cap. I use this in my freezer. Identical to the Scientific Atlantic Thermometer.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Exactly what we need!

I bought these to control the temperature in the scientific freezer and scientific refrigerator that we keep the COVID-19 vaccine in and they are PERFECT! They were easy to set up and very reliable. The price is very reasonable and the product is excellent - I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Weak

Excellent product for testing, measuring and validating

I am using this item for my new freezer which does not have a built in alarm when the temperature drops below freezing. If you have a power outage, you can see what the temperature is inside. You can grad set it in pros or cons. I recommend this product and it has a magnet that attaches to the side of the freezer.

Vaccine Storage Monitor

A very well made, simple fridge biomonitor. If cold chain integrity is important to you, it should be in your fridge. I am a canine and feline veterinarian and have hundreds of doses of modified live vaccines stocked in my office. I need to know if there are deviations from the recommended memory settings, that gives me numbers and some peace of mind.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Well, when it works, false alarms are common.

Often shows error "LL.L” which means there are problems reading the sensor. It usually clears up within a minute or two, it's very frustrating to turn off the alarm. I have no idea if the device or the probe is causing the problem. Update 01/29/2018: I often fail to register the probe at all, stuck in the LL.L error. The thing is now practically useless.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Still the best among thermometers

I bought this to keep track of the temperature of my outdoor freezer which is in a covered driveway. It shows high and low temperatures since the last reset to make sure you didn't have an unknown thaw/refreeze episode. It beeps when the temperature is outside of the range you specified, which recently saved me from losing the contents of my freezer when the outlet was somehow unplugged. I was lucky I was just leaving the house at that point or I wouldn't have heard it, but without it I would…

Pros
  • The alarm function warns when the temperature falls above or below the set point. The alarm is programmable in 1° increments. Ten foot micro cable allows fridge doors to be closed
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
