Works as intended with our new Smart TV and a very old VHS player

Our old flat screen TV had RCA and component video connections (plus HDMI). The new TV only has HDMI. With this little gadget, we were able to quickly and easily connect an old VHS player to our TV! I have a picture quality of "5", but remember that the quality depends on the quality of the VHS tape and its resolution. This gadget doesn't make the resolution any better than what VHS puts out, which is no better than 480 resolution (compared to 720/1080/4K). So I doubt it's "upscaled" - not forโ€ฆ

Make sure you have an RCA to HDMI converter.

I got an RVA/HDMI converter, hooked it up in 30 minutes and it worked. Not bad for an 86 year old. I am very happy with this product as I didn't want to get rid of my DVD/VHS player and the converter was the ANSWER as our new TV didn't have RCA jacks. Thank you for this quality product.

Didn't work - accessories and consumables

Maybe it was just what I got but this one didn't work at all. The video game system, HDMI cable and TV worked fine, but it didn't work at all. Nothing happened on the TV on the 1080 setting and all I had was a black screen on the 720 setting. This screen was present whether or not a gaming system was connected. I took the same composite cables and plugged them directly into the TV and had no problems.

Works perfectly: Video Converters

I bought this converter solely for use with my SNES and N64. At first the screen was all blue and I thought either the converter isn't working or my Nintendo is broken. I guess the converter only needed time to convert the image: 5 minutes for the N64 and around 30 minutes for the SNES. Don't be discouraged if you don't get a picture or sound right away. The picture comes out in 16:9 since Nintendo had 4:3. The image does not look stretched. There is no sound delay. The only thing that bothersโ€ฆ

Converter ABLEWE useless thing: the whole truth about this product

Hello! I ordered this converter for myself on Aliexpress to convert the analog output to HDMI. Since basically modern TVs have only HDMI inputs, it is not possible to connect equipment in which there is no HDMI to them. So I found such a miracle converter on aliexpress that can translate the output from AV tulips to HDMI. The seller's website says you can plug in anything from a camera to a player's blues and get high-definition picture, video comes to life, delivering the sharpest, mostโ€ฆ
