Bonnet Release Dorman

It's not good. It was too short, the ends where you make adjustments didn't twist. I ended up having to cut it out and get it working.

Pros
  • Solid Construction
Cons
  • Useless Functions

Cable too short for application Dorman's engineering department is aware of this issue but only called them and found it out after spending several hours installing it.

The cables are not suitable for my car.

doesn't fit in my car. The cables were 1 1/2 inches shorter. I found a website that sells the correct GM cables and they fit perfectly

Pros
  • Fits great for me
Cons
  • Without instructions

Definitely short!

The cable was the wrong length. I had to enlarge the case to fit. Luckily it was for the car that's for sale, but other than that it's a complete flop.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old

hardly worked with manual trimming and not on special.

Adjustment cable too short. While the overall cable length was adequate on the driver's side, it was sufficient on the passenger's side. I was able to route the cable, but the threaded plastic adjustment sleeve didn't have enough travel. I had to cut the threaded end on the cable jacket about an inch to allow the adjustment sleeve to retract far enough to slip into the clamp, and then the cable end snapped into the drive. I've read many similar stories on various forums, but since I had a cable
