What I liked was that my component fit perfectly in the case, however the heat is too much as there is no ventilation on the case to dissipate the heat, it will too hot after a short period of operation. I do not want it.

This case works as described. Inserted compatible discs are recognized as external HD like a USB stick. The only downside to this case is the heat. I would expect this case to be used on average for a reliable external hard drive that is fast and likely to hold a lot of data. I used it as an external storage case for my Mac Mini. Although it works well (performance), it causes freezes from time to time. I put my "home directory" on the SSD that I put in this case. So whenever I do something (a little more than usual, like `npm install`), the system hangs. I thought my SSD couldn't handle disk operations. So I stopped indexing Spotlight. This case is just so-so. , especially when I'm looking for something on the hard drive. I also had to use a thermal pad on the drive as it gets too hot. Another thing I don't like is the silicone stopper that holds the drive in place. I have another case from another manufacturer that is much better and stronger and I will use that instead.
