It is reversible

This air pressure regulator requires air to flow from inlet to outlet, but a pressure gauge can be mounted on the back of the regulator to allow for reverse operation. The gauge is quite small and uses a 3/8 inch fitting. My 21 gallon Harbor Cargo Compressor had a larger gauge with a 1/8" fitting, so I used it with the appropriate matching converter.

Pros
  • Compressed Air Conditioning
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

never mind Better than the usual China junk, though.

Regulator fits and works reasonably well but uses a poor quality cast brass fitting for the gauge. The slightest angular pressure will break it. If you purchase this regulator, I suggest that you also purchase a better quality replacement gauge. In addition, a plastic pressure regulator is very different from a professional metal T-knob. The opening is smaller than expected, about two and a half inches.

very good quality

Used to replace my 20 gallon vertical portable compressor which is built into the manifold. I rebuilt my compressor manifold and ran it directly from the pressure switch. I could probably use the 1/4" version, but sometimes I need a lot of air for my 3/4" hit for my RV lug nuts. This regulator is not even comparable to the original Chinese junk. It offers fantastic airflow and stable, even pressure. The caliber is small. but it's great for my needs and overall I'm very happy to pay the extra…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • No Power
