    Works as it should

I ordered this product for zonal noise monitoring under production conditions. Works as expected. Would give five stars if it was more durable. Since I am using this in an industrial facility, there is a risk that it might fall off. I don't expect it to survive even a short fall. A stronger case or maybe a rubberized lid would have been nice.

    Pros
    • Nice little thing
    Cons
    • I don't remember but something happened

Generally satisfied with the meter BUT criticized by CalTrans / Sound Engineering Company for the meter being unable to record Leq readings for a period of time. Leq is the average over 5 or 30 minutes, etc. This non-Leq meter will only show instantaneous values of interest, but the average is important when measuring road noise levels. Overtaking trucks/motorcycles etc. is a problem without LEQ ability. I had to buy another Leq meter before my readings were taken into account. Otherwise it's a
