Texas horns! Best in Heavy Duty and Commercial Vehicle Equipment

I installed these horns on my GMC 2500HD after I was hit by a woman in Texas. Very efficient! You have to do the wiring and have enough space, they are big but they fit well in front of the radiator. No problem with transmission cooler brackets.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Almost never

nothing included for installation

This is not a good deal. You should hook everything up and have good luck finding a place to install the horns. There are NO mounts included and I will be giving this as a Christmas present. IF you want trouble, you are wasting your time and money.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Negative experience

Great investment, loud good sound

Great investment, loud good sound, both whistles can be heard a few seconds after pressing the horn button. Simple easy connection. I connected mine directly to the old horn wire, added ground. People with phones and bikes think I'm approaching a truck and run over it.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

2005 Ram Truck Assist System

The original factory electric horns failed after heavy rain on the Bonneville Salt Flats. They were replaced with aftermarket units, but they weren't enough to command respect. Big kids live just behind the grill segments and speak smartly when needed. Bottle to prevent moisture and dirt from entering the air intake. Wiring and air hose do not affect operation. They're not in the same league as my former Hadley and REAL fire engine pipes, but do an excellent job with no compressors, reservoirs,

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Fine

Loud, not shrill like small horn kits

This is a great value for money air horn kit. I say softly because it doesn't sound like a real train horn at all. and cheap plastic pipes. As such, I would not attach them to the outside of a car that is going off-road where limbs or hands may meet. But they are good over the grill. They make a nice two tone big truck sound as opposed to small shrill kits. They come with two pipes, a compressor, a relay, a Y-pipe and a transparent air hose. There are a few things you need to know about this…

Pros
  • Great value
Cons
  • Large and bulky

For indoor use only. .When you go outside, use smooth roads only.

I've been a Fiamm fan for a long time. They used to be very good. It's kind of a decent horn while it works, but not for very long. I blow it up once a month or so and it fails within a year. I'm replacing it with another one since it's cheap and easy after you've done it for the first one. They seem to have different failure modes each time, so I put together a nice box of parts. Soon I may be able to do a full set. I think next time they fail I'll save $5 and buy the same Wolo labeled horn…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
