I bought it as a gift and it's a great video for beginners. Remember to always wipe and dry your blades before putting them away as they will rust over time. I haven't had this problem yet as we have blade sheaths that absorb moisture. These skates were used for recreation and ice skating. In my opinion, the best way to learn is to go on the ice, always with the same skates.

These were my daughter's first skates and she loves them. I took a size up because I noticed there were some reviews online that they were a bit tight and just a perfect fit. You also look very good. The quality of the skates for such a price is just great!

I'm still breaking them in but they're really quite comfortable, great ankle support, the blades feel perfectly straight and I highly recommend them - they're great skates. I had some issues at first, but then I realized that the guy who sharpened them made them too sharp. They are great for a beginner or intermediate but I don't think they provide enough ankle support for jumps, I'm good at bunny jumps. I am still happy with my purchase and would still recommend it
