Perfect Fit - Interior

The hardest part was taking apart the old broken key fob. I found a couple of YouTube videos on this, both were for Hyundai/Kia and both showed it with a Hyundai key fob that came apart fairly easily. The key fob for my Kia Soul di 2013 is NOT easy to take apart. I ended up using a razor to cut off the sides and bottom before I could finally take it apart. After taking it apart and removing the circuit board, battery, and key, it was pretty easy to put everything in the new case. Skilled…

This item has a blank key which is unusable, you cannot cut it and make it work. it is a wrong blank or a failed attempt to copy the shape and grooves of the original. The body is usable but gets tricky as the flip key is not interchangeable with the original cut out flip key. I only needed the case and the rubber pad for the keyboard, I had the original key cut out. I tried swapping it out and it didn't fit the new housing and didn't work properly or slip out when needed, but you can remove…

Perfect for 2012 Sportage. There are great videos on the Internet that give instructions on how to change the housing. I will try to describe the process and clarify some questions I had beforehand. The original key may be difficult to open. Remove the key and a cavity will appear with the key in the closed state. Just pry it open and it will fall apart with some effort.
