Description of 🎨 Kuretake GANSAI TAMBI 48 Colors Set with 3 WATER BRUSH Pens - Handcrafted, Professional-Quality Pigment Inks Ideal for Artists and Crafters - Display Brilliance on Dark Papers - Flexible Brush Tip - Made in Japan

[Watercolor Paints 48 Colors] Gansai is traditional Japanese watercolor, utilizing colors that are based off those seen in nature, meaning they are vivid and opaque. Pans are carefully filled with paint that is smooth, not granulated, and dries with a slight shiny finish. [Water Brush Pen] Developed in a convenient size and shape, Kuretake water brush pen is easy to hold, and allows you to easy control the flow of water by adjusting the pressure applied to the body. As water flows through the brush, it is self-cleaning and does not require the brush to be washed. Detailer is best for fine details, and the Large and Broad sizes are ideal for coloring large areas. Feel free to make your watercolor artwork debut with Kuretake's water brush pen!. [Flexible Techniques] Paints do not leave hard edges when dry, making flat-washes easy to accomplish, and are easy to layer with proper technique. [Brush Dexterity] Gansai Tambi Pans are much larger than typical watercolor pans, giving you the ability to use both small or large brushes quite easily. [Palette and Color chart included] Within each Gansai Tambi set is a protective sheet that not only keeps your pans from shifting but can be used as a palette mixer. Each box also includes a color chart so you can swatch the colors yourself and distinguish between them quickly. [Quality loved by professionals]Kuretake's pen is suitable for beginners as well as advanced users. It is especially loved and professional sers and artists due to its durability and stability of the pen tip. Well received for its suitability in delicately painting narrow to wide ranges fluidly.

Wow! Kuretake is very good!

The colors are fantastic. The bowls are wide to facilitate mixing. Removable panels. The colors are bright and striking.

Cons
  • Crumpled

The colors are excellent, smooth and rich.

Easily mixable. Not chalky at all. I will buy again. Worth the extra dollars. Use a wide range of colors and they are in my top 5 brands.

Nice set, excellent bonus water brush pens.

I've been hoping to try these colors for a long time, and I regret not having decided sooner. You are really wonderful. The three water brush pens were a great bonus and a fun change of pace. I would definitely buy again.

The color pigmentation is great!

I just LOVE these watercolors! The colors are bright and hold up well on paper. I ordered water brushes to go with it and I love them too! Really worth the cost for as many colors as you get in the palette! Happy painting!

Cons
  • Not everything fits

Beautiful, luxurious watercolors!

Pros: Amazing colors! Golds are amazing! Greens are perfect! Creamy. Transparent and opaque. Nice box. Good brushes. Cons: Must be stored horizontally and pans are difficult to remove from box. With the help of magnets I will transfer the pans into two smaller metal boxes to store them upright after drying.

Cons
  • Very expensive

Nice Intense Well Saturated Set

Nicely saturated colors and pans are a good shape especially for kids or really those who want a little more brush room. The colors appear to be faithfully transferred to the paper and are very saturated - a little it seems that this is far from the case. Definitely more opaque than other brands, but a change in technique can allow most artists to control this quite easily. Although I haven't finished it yet, I love the sample card and look forward to helping my daughter (whom I bought the set…

The most beautiful watercolors

I LOVE these watercolors. The colors are beautiful and saturated. I ordered a larger assortment of watercolor pencils. I've never used pens before but thought this would be a good opportunity to try them out. The pens are great they won't replace my regular brushes but I used the smallest one to paint the swatch on the lid - just with water in the pen and a rag it was very easy to switch from one color to another without that the colors bleed. These are a bit more expensive, but worth the…

48 colors with a set of three brushes

The colors and the smoothness of this brush are just incredibly beautiful. I enjoy all of its 48 colors and their uniqueness. I bought this product because I wanted to get back into art. The packaging was great and I had no paint chips when I received it. The brushes are great too. Although I would say that when trying to mix colors the water reconstitutes the dried colors and creates weird specks (as you can see in the image provided). I recommend not using too much water when blending or…

Nice colors but they didn't add my brushes

I'm a little upset because I bought a set that was supposed to come with 3 water brushes and I didn't see any. Also the colors are absolutely gorgeous and I haven't seen any western colors take as much as this one, a lot goes a long way but the pots are almost empty. I don't think the color in it will fit in very small amounts in the normal half pot you find with other colors so I have to hoard this because I love how easily they can be remoistened and easily removed. Other people seemed to…

In a good way different from western watercolors

I really like painting with watercolors Kuretake GANSAI Tambi 48 from Japan. They behave a little differently than the western watercolor marks we use. They have excellent lifting properties. They are not as transparent as other brands but can be transparent. Very pigmented and vibrant colors. Small things have a big impact. So if you want a clear wash, use very little. I suppose a beginner can easily use them once they understand that they work a little differently than US and EU watercolors…
