Works perfectly . for a few months

Bought for office desk bar. Ease of installation. Worked exceptionally well for a few months, then stopped staying in "on" mode. Read the instructions again to determine if the problem is due to user error. everything was set as it should be. AMAX sent a replacement sensor and everything was perfect again. It has now been 2 weeks since the sensor was replaced; fails again.

DYI Downlights

The contractor who remodeled my kitchen forgot to put backlights in this area. Other areas of my kitchen are backlit and that makes a huge difference so I decided to try it myself to brighten up this area. Installation was so easy after watching the video and reading the instructions it took about 15 minutes to complete the installation. Clips for installing lamps and cables hide everything under the cabinet edge, only the plug in the socket is visible.

Good light, packaging is not recyclable and would be better with shorter wait times.

That would be 5 stars except: 1) The plastic shipping containers that come in the Black and Decker box are not recyclable. SHAME ON BLACK AND DECKER! 2) The timer only has 1 setting for 3 hours. It would be better if there was a choice of 5 minutes. A variant with a shorter switch-off interval would also be more environmentally friendly. Otherwise a beautifully crafted dimmable light with an optional slim 3 hour timer module and motion sensor could have been used. This kit comes with all…

Flexible Placement, Easy Install

We recently moved into a new house that had no under cabinet lights. I installed LED under cabinet lights during a kitchen remodel in our previous home (which required a separate wired power supply and dimmer) and wanted the under cabinet lights to light up without damaging the drywall during installation. Cheap, bright but dimmable, natural daylight is beautiful!

This set of 3 12" lights and everything you need to install them (part number LEDUC12-3DK) is exactly what we were looking for. We had a lot of trouble finding a model with natural daylight. The LEDs in our lights are 5000K and really didn't want the yellowish light under the counter when everything else was daylight.
