Excellent facilities. but buy an extra bolt adapter

This is a reliable and easy to use clip. It's nice that it comes with a 2908 bolt (Manfrotto code #036), but you can also get a 2907 (Manfrotto 037 reversible short bolt) because it's the one with a 3/8" thread that fits most tripod heads and an adjustable extension from Manfrotto is! It will also be flush with the clamp while the pin they give you will be raised above the unit as shown in their picture. You can use one of those little adapters that are over 1/4" screw (I originally did) but…

Twice as expensive as fakes, but that's what you want.

I'm all for cheap gear, guerrilla shooting, DIY and clever workarounds that save money. BUT. equipment in your kit. This clip is firmly attached to table, stand, railing, pipe, banister, shelf, cabinet door, etc. If this clip can cut in, I think it will hold up. Buy fakes for cheap LED lights, flags and other inexpensive stuff, but by all means buy some of these for the nicer lights you are investing in and even your camera. I have no doubt that this clamp can and will hold my Canon 60D DSLR…

Is working! Are competitors better and cheaper?

Overall a great brand but there are a few things the competitor (Brand: Impact) does better. The pen looks very cheap. Which is odd, because it's also plastic compared to Impact, but does it feel better? In addition, the Impact grip features an "angle" adjustment; This means that the tightening/loosening button can be repositioned in tight spaces, while this version cannot. Assembly somehow not the same? Compared to the Impact I can clamp the C-pillar (main speaker) much easier, this seems to…

Summary: I bought 2 units of Manfrotto Super Clamps to attach different types of equipment to the Manfrotto AutoPole 2 which I also own. The clips are made of solid aluminum and offer a firm hold. According to the manufacturer, the max. weight limit for this clamp is 15 kg. So far I've mainly used it to hang LED lights, and it keeps them in place. Do not scratch the Autopole. The jaw opening range of this clamp is 1.3-5.3cm (0.5-2.1 inch), which is relatively large and allows you to easily…

It's a clamp that clamps things down.

I mainly use these clips to attach an umbrella to my monopod when I'm shooting in the rain. It's a well-made clamp that clamps things down, I'm not sure what else to say about that. I bought a Manfrotto Super Clip and a cheaper copy from Limo Studios to see if there was a significant difference. The short answer is no, not really. You can stop reading here if you are impatient. That being said, the Manfrotto seems to have a better fit and finish. For example, both come with a small rubber…

I liked the first one I ordered a while ago that I ordered the 2nd.

If you don't have either of these and sometimes find a place to put your flash or camera where a tripod or tripod wouldn't work, try this clip. . It has huge jaws that press against a 2x4 or larger edge to cut through very thin material if needed. The V-shaped jaw also allows almost any round tube to be clamped effectively, but be careful not to clamp it so tight that you break any of your light stand's rods. documented in the document that came with the clamp) is a small wedge-shaped plastic…

Extremely versatile, durable, reliable clamps

These clamps are incredibly useful for a variety of jobs. They are primarily designed to be mounted on a light stand, pole or tripod, but can be mounted on almost anything. Motorbikes and vehicles, terrace railings or railings, doors, tables and counters are just the beginning. The included wedges make these clamps easy to use on flat surfaces. The build quality is excellent. The body of the main clamps is thick aluminum with steel and brass fittings. The main drawbar is plastic but very strong
