Description of ๐Ÿ Meric Reptile Bed: 12x14 Coco Fiber Mats for Snakes, Chameleons, Geckos, Turtles | 2-Pack Climbing Carpet for Terrarium Liner | Pets' Paradise!

โœ” DURABLE AND GUARANTEES LONG-TIME USAGE --- The two reptile bed liners from Meric are made using the coconut. The coco coir assures solidity and strength. It can also withstand repeated use and only requires occasional washing which also helps prolong its lifespan. โœ” GIVE YOUR PETS SOMETHING THATโ€™S HEALTHY TO EAT --- Having coconut fiber as its main material, you do not need to worry about your pets chewing them. In fact, chewing anything fibrous is actually good. โœ” PET OWNERโ€™S GIFT FOR SOUND & SOFT-CUSHIONED NAP TO YOUR PETS --- The coir fiber can sustain plenty of water on its surface. As water travels easily through the coconut fiber, allowing it to evaporate, it doesnโ€™t attract anything on the mat. โœ” SAY GOODBYE TO WIRED & METAL CAGES --- The floor cover by Meric is perfect for frogs, salamanders, and animals who dig because it increases humidity in the terrarium. Reptiles and amphibians tend to burrow when they want to sleep, relieve stress, and hide. This extremely coarse, and stiff coco husk mat can give those paws some good excavating exercise. โœ” CAGE BEDDING FOR PETS --- Extracted from hairy coco husk, the Coconut Mat by Meric makes a good breathable floor covering for your petโ€™s homes. Coco coir makes it an ideal resting pad for your small companions like dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, turtles, other reptiles, and amphibians.

Great Quality for My Chameleon Tank

I purchased this substrate for my chameleon's tank and it has been amazing so far. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice as a pet owner, I knew that a natural substrate would be best for my little guy. The size options and quality of this substrate are on point. It's great that it's easy to clean and doesn't bunch up like some sand substrates can. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey compared to some other options, but the quality is worth it. Overall, I would definitelyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great option for pet owners who want to keep chameleons as they have enough space to move around.
Cons
  • The size of the terrarium may make it difficult to find a suitable location in smaller homes or apartments with limited space.

Chinese plastic trash

I bought this because it says pressed coir. It says that it's not only safe but also good for your pet. The fibers are coated with plastic! Complete garbage! What a disgusting lie that chewing on this quintessential Chinese junk will do your pet good.

Pros
  • Bedding
Cons
  • Not as thick as other items

Decent coir mats

I used these as a background in my bioactive vivarium. They're fine for my purposes, but a few things to note: the material folds in half and it's very hard to manipulate into any other shape (not impossible, just wants to stay the way it is), would the mats be twice as thick as the others? not necessarily a disadvantage, but it definitely made aligning mattes next to my background uncomfortable. The thinner one was maybe 1/8 inch thick, the thicker one was closer to 1/4 inch. There are manyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Litter, sand and substrate for terrariums
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
