Good quality zip ties

Why did it take so long to go from a simple zip tie to this one that lets you attach it to a wall, beam, post or anything else that helps secure cable? Brilliant.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good quality zip ties

Why did it take so long to go from a regular zip tie to the one you use to attach it to a wall or joist can rod or anything else to secure the cable. Brilliant.

Pros
  • Package dimensions: 3.606L x 26.67H x 11.201W (cm)
Cons
  • Doubtful

Just Hang 'em Up - Cable management

I liked the description. The material it's made of seems less flexible than those I've used in the past. I believe this may break the mounting hole if the screw is overtightened. Only time will tell how well they will work.

Pros
  • No additional wall clips or brackets required
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Good for cable management

Great for keeping everything secure. I used about a dozen of these to hide all the computer cords under my desk. The added pain of having to drill a pilot hole was easily offset by never having to deal with a dropped cable again. I've tried using self-adhesive squares that allow you to use a zip tie in the past and each fell off within a week. One thing I noticed is that if you pull too hard, the screw eye piece will break away from the rest of the tie (it's not flexible plastic if pulled…

Pros
  • Connect bundles of wires and attach cable ties to the wall with the integrated mounting tab on the head of the cable tie
Cons
  • No power
