After reading almost all the reviews we got one. Its magical! It's very well done. Not skinny. It's plastic, so it certainly doesn't look "realistic," but it's not entirely banal either. The tip of the wand has multiple glow settings that it cycles through, ranging from a faint glow to a more intense glow. (brilliant even) to have that little 'knob' to dim/boost the glow when needed. We've had the same batteries in the wand for a few weeks now and it's still working.

My daughter loves the chopstick but her only source of comparison was the chopstick she was using before she got this item. As an adult who understands the quality and manufacturing cost, I was disappointed with the cheap plastic construction. The presentation box is the most beautiful. We've only had it about a week so can't comment on if the light still works, but overall my opinion = cheap vs expensive. At the same time, it is worthwhile if your baby enjoys it and plays with it regularly.
