Great aquarium feeder!

This is a great and inexpensive addition to my aquarium. I needed something to make sure my fish were fed while I was on vacation. I tried it a few days before leaving and it worked great! When I came back from vacation it worked and everything was fine. I highly recommend this feeder!

Great Holiday Feeder

This was a great item to have for catching fish when we went on holiday. We usually use a dropper which slowly dissipates over the course of a week but when we come back the water gets very cloudy and disgusting. At the same time the fish were feeding their usual amount of food and the water was crystal clear when we came back. I highly recommend.

Great for fish and turtles

I have 3 and they are great for feeding fish and our turtles when we go away. to the top of the barrel. I hang it on one side and when it spins it's on the other side. So I know it worked. [This isn't a complaint - it's just advice as you know how it works while you learn to trust it - it's sooooo quiet.

First time user.oops!

Just a warning to anyone who has never used an automatic feeder. CHECK performance before adding to your tank. I didn't think about it and opened the small door all the way. Then he started dripping about 5 tablespoons of food into my tank. What a mess. Luckily I was standing there and was able to react quickly. So check that first and then so you always know where to open the feed door. I used a permanent marker so I always know how open it should be. It works well. Customer service is great…

inferior quality. Already failed twice

Nice at the beginning when I got it for the first time. It's difficult to set up and understand the instructions, but once you've got all your settings set up, it's very convenient and easy to turn on and off. One weekend the feeder died in the middle of feeding causing a horrible accident with tons of feed. I changed the batteries, after 2 weeks it stopped working. I thought it was dead batteries but when I opened the battery compartment I saw everything was rusty and rusty. Maybe because of…

A Story About Killing Your Fish

So we need something to use when we visit family this summer. Being away for a week we also wanted an automatic feeder and this one had very promising reviews. Left this morning after the feeder had been in use for most of the week only to come back to find the keg whirling and whirling and whirling meaning over half the feed had fallen out. The photo I posted is after using the suction tube. Gather as many as I could and replace about 5 gallons of a 60 gallon tank. I will be changing the water

Pros
  • Confident
Cons

A bit clunky and eats batteries.

Does what it's supposed to! It works as intended, I only have two complaints: 1. It's a little bulky and difficult to set up to get the food right through the hole in the tank's lid, causing extra food debris to build up over time. 2. The batteries last about 6-8 weeks (I use new high quality Duracell batteries). Pay extra attention and replace when the LED shows the level is getting low, you don't want your fish to miss a meal. You also reset the clock and feeding time every time you change…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

With this device, the feed chamber (transparent plastic cylinder) is rotated by a full turn. You can set 4 releases per feeding time. The feed falls out of the sliding window you opened in the chamber to a size that allows you to release the amount of feed you need for each feeding time. If you've ever set up a digital clock or a clock that performs a series of functions like date, time, AM, PM or other settings that require you to hold down a button or action for a few seconds, you'll…

Pros
  • Very good price-performance ratio
Cons
