The holder is a bit twisted and of very poor quality. If you're trying to use the 35mm ANR glass made for the original Epson holder, don't worry about buying it as the glass won't quite fit.

I scan a lot of negatives so the extra border on negatives is very useful. I can load an image while another is being scanned, which speeds up the process. Works perfectly.

Item arrived damaged. It's a bit more fragile than the Epson that came with my scanner. The plastic was torn in one corner during shipping.

I've been trying to open this thing for weeks without damaging it. Even when it finally opens, I have a feeling it will be very painful trying to open and close it every time. The center latches just won't come loose no matter how hard you pull, bend, or twist. I'm thinking of returning it if I can't open it and definitely won't buy it again, especially given the price.

Works well but feels incredibly cheap, the plastic has no weight and the paint on it is ugly and has an awkward latch. The original has a nice smooth pop up feel that is smaller. sticky? definitely a mediocre replacement for the original but not many options if you lose the original. i think it works I just prefer to handle my thin film with something that isn't that difficult to take apart.

Advertised as suitable for Epson v600. It's not like this. The scanner will not work with this item. I'm sending it back but I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't claim to do something it doesn't.

I've only used it on about 500 negatives the taps are starting to break. The plastic is not very high quality. The original film holder that came with the scanner was used for 1500 negatives and is still working.

As far as I could visually judge, this is an exact replica of the 35mm negative holder that came with my Epson V600 scanner. I ordered a backup from Revain because they are made of thin, lightweight plastic and are quite brittle to handle in use. I need a backup just in case. When this arrived in Revain bubble wrap it was broken. So I have requested a refund from Revain and will be ordering again.
