This life jacket makes our little one feel safe in the water! He wears it both in the pool and in the lake - protecting him and giving him a chance to swim with friends.

I would like to be able to return it for a different size. It has all the tags on it, never worn. I missed the return window by 3 days. We didn't have our own boat yet, so we never tried it on it.

The material seems a bit cheaper than I was hoping for but my son says it's comfortable and has a fairly long waist so it was a challenge, a good one find jacket. We have had very good experiences with this product and would definitely recommend it to other parents.

We bought this for our 7 year old who is about the size of an average 9 year old and it fits him perfectly! He uses it in kayaks and it seems to stay down and doesn't look like a tortoise shell. This summer we tested his buoyancy in Lake Michigan when he flipped his yak and it worked great!

My slim 9 year old son fits very tight. The bottom two straps fit well, but the top strap is too tight, to the point where he can feel it pinching his chest. The strap is stretched to its maximum length, but still needs about 4 inches of slack for a comfortable fit. I know it needs to be neat to work properly, but I know I'll need another one within a year.

We used this for our 7 year old daughter. It was a great vest! We used it to swim in a 25 foot deep lake. It has given me such a peace of mind. The vest fits perfectly! The only downside was that she developed a rash around her armpits and neck from the heavy chafing of the vest. That was because she jumped off the boat we were sitting on and cruised down the hill non-stop for two days. We put a t-shirt on her and that solved the problem. Very comfortable for my 6.5 year old son. He is 4 feet and 52 pounds. It slipped out of one two years ago because it didn't fit properly. However, this jacket fits him, allowing him to swing safely in the water. He needs to be reminded to keep his head back, not forward. He didn't complain of any discomfort and believe me if he felt unwell he would definitely tell me! This jacket took the worries out of my trip to the lake.
