Recognizes any tension

What I like about it is that it detects AC or DC voltage of almost any magnitude: 24 VAC, 12 VDC, 120 VAC, 240 VAC. A very handy addition to my tool box.

Pros
  • Soul memory
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Used to check for the presence of electrical current

This tester is used to determine the presence of current in an outlet. I needed to replace an outlet in a home where the light switches were not labeled. I usually plug in the radio and turn it on, then flip the switches one at a time until the radio turns off, but without access to the radio I needed a different method. This tester worked great. It lit up red when the outlet was turned on, and then after I turned off the correct switch, the tester didn't light up. So it works as intended.

Works perfectly! Inexpensive peace of mind

The function of this tool is quite simple - it checks for the presence of power in the wiring. Maybe you're like me and you're not a professional but would like to try your hand at odd jobs around the house. Well, that should be in your tool bag and you should always keep that in mind. This tool has a few different settings if you really have to dial it in, but current detection is what it does, and it does it well. I've tested it on various things around the house and it picks it up every…

Works great and costs less than 10€!

Are you looking for a cheap voltage tester? Try the ORIA voltage tester, a non-contact AC current tester! When I test my outlets, I use a voltage tester that can detect positive, reverse, or no phase. It comes with two AAA batteries. LCD display, flashlight and it's quite easy to use. Press the red button to turn it on and the lights will turn green, plug it into the outlet and it will turn red to indicate the outlet has a live wire. Easy to use! You can also run it along the cable to see if…
